1958 The English Electric Co, Babcock and Wilcox and Taylor Woodrow Construction, who had already been working together on the Calder Hall and Hinckley A power stations, announced the formation of a new company English Electric Babcock and Wilcox and Taylor Woodrow Atomic Power Construction Company Ltd, which would complete the Hinckley contract, construction of which started in 1957[1]
1960 Started work on design of Sizewell A nuclear power station[2]
By 1966 the partners were members of Nuclear Design and Construction
1983 The original consortium was removed from the register of companies[3]
