1884 Partnership change. '...the Partnership which has for some time past been carried on by William Ashmore and Samuel While, under the style or firm of Ashmore and While, at Stockton-on-Tees, in the county of Durham, in the trade or business of Engineers, Ironfounders, and Gasholder, Boiler, Girder, and Iron Roof Manufacturers, has been dissolved by mutual consent. And notice is hereby further given, that the said business will henceforth be carried on by the said William Ashmore alone, under the same style...'[4]
