Joseph Elton Bott (1855-1903)

1873 Clerk on the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway

1891 Living at The Dingle, Eyam, Derbyshire: Joseph Elton Bott (age 36 born Derby), Civil Engineer - Employer. with his wife Julia and their two daughter. Also visitors and servants.[1]

1898 'At Birmingham, Joseph Elton Bolt, company promoter, Victoria Buildings, Victoria-st., Manchester, was charged with converting to his own use £270, of which he was bailee, the moneys of William Pearson, engineer, Vauxhall-rd., Birmingham.'[2]

1903 January 18th. Died. At Dunclutha, Cambuslang, age 46, late of Manchester.[3]


Note: In 1910 a Joseph Elton Bott age 77 dies in Derby. Possibly his father.
