1889 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Sutton Remer and Jonathan Willans Nowell, carrying on business as Timber Merchants, at Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster, under the style or firm of Remer, Nowell, and Co., has been dissolved, by mutual consent, as from the 1st day of October, 1889. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said John Sutton Remer, who will continue to carry on business on his own account, under the style of Remer, Nowell, and Co., as heretofore...'[1]
