1917 The business appears to have been incorporated as a private company, Fletcher Patents Limited, with capital of £2,000, to manufacture, buy, sell, and in any wise deal in the article specified under Letter Patent No.107514, for improvements in and relating to endless track bands for motor and other vehicle wheels, and to deal in motor carriages.[1]

1920 Philip and Bruce Limited, iron, steel, metal and timber merchants, engineers' agents and exporters; sole agents in Scotland for Ames Crosta Sanitary Engineering Co Ltd, Nottingham.[2]

1929 Philip and Bruce Ltd was in liquidation[3]

1929 Philip and Bruce (Timber) Limited was incorporated as a private company of timber merchants.[4]

1973 Liquidators were appointed to Philip and Bruce (Pipework) Ltd, of Tadworth, Surrey[5]
