1957 Company formed by AEI-John Thompson Nuclear Energy Co and Morgan Crucible Co to machine graphite blocks for use in nuclear power stations[1]

1958 Moved to Poole, taking over a Royal Ordnance factory which had closed[2]

1961 As part of the consolidation then taking place in the nuclear equipment industry, the company became a wholly-owned subsidiary of AEI-John Thompson Nuclear Energy Co[3]
