- Maker of stationary engines[1] and locomotives.
Léonard ('Léon') Piguet (1855-1901) joined his father Antoine Louis Piguet, in the company founded by Alphonse Duvergier (1811 (1818?)-1879), builder of stationary steam engines.
In 1879, the Piguets joined forces to found the company MM. Piguet et Compagnie.
1917 Company name: Établissements Piguet.
1920s Merged with the Dujardin de Lille company.
