Wynn Harold Tregoning (c1877-1931)

WYNN HAROLD TREGONING, C.B.E., on leaving Trinity College, Cambridge in 1897, became articled to Messrs. Bramwell and Harris of Westminster.
In 1906 he was offered an appointment in South America by Messrs. Alfred Booth and Company of Liverpool, to whom he became responsible for reports in connexion with the harbour works at Iquitos, Peru.
Mr. Tregoning subsequently became a partner of the firm in 1913, and upon its reorganization in 1914 was appointed a director.
He retained his connexion with the firm until his death in London on 6th October 1930 in his fifty-fifth year.
He had been connected with the Institution since 1899, having then been elected a Graduate and in 1903 an Associate Member.
During the War Mr. Tregoning was Deputy-Chairman of the Ships Licensing Committee, and later became a director of the Booth Steamship Company and of the Bank of London and South America.
