Willoughby Theobald Monzani (1805-54), musician and the holder of a number of patents

1804 May 11th. Born in Camberwell the son of Theobald Monzani and his wife Pleasant Price

1832 Married in Ramsgate to Louisa Metcalfe

1841 Living at Park Street, St. Pancras: Willoughby Monzani (age c35), Musician. With Louisa Monzani (age c35), Willoughby Monzani (age c7), Catherine Monzani (age c6), Ellen Monzani (age c2), and Thomas Monzani (age c25).[1]

1844 Patent: Certain improvements in the construction of boats, for the preservation of life and property; and in apparatus applicable thereto: Willoughby Theobald Monzani of Wellington Terrace, Ramsgate, Gent.[2]

1848 James Warren and Willoughby Theobald Monzani of St. James's Terrace, Blue Anchor Road, Bermondsey patented an improved method of constructing bridges, aqueducts and roofings.[3]

1854 July 29th. Died. 'W. T. Monzani, favourite flute player, late of the Royal Italian Opera, aged 50.'[4]
