1854 Partnership dissolved between William Savory and James Savory [1]

Mid 19th century: James Savory made a 24-foot diameter cast-iron waterwheel in Tewkesbury for Stanway Mill.

c.1857 Savory and Son started to manufacture portable engines with jacketed cylinders, well in advance of other manufacturers[2]

1881 Became T. and W. Summers
