Engineer and owner of Gorton and Blakemore - the heating engineers, Atherton. [1]

He worked for 20 years or more for J. Grundy - iron founders and engineers, Tyldesley, Lancs.[2]

In 1933 he was appointed managing director of Gorton and Blakemore's, and later became the owner. [3]

1939 Died aged 56 on 5th June. [4]

He was a member of the Institution of Heating and Ventilating Engineers. He leaves a widow and two daughters. [5]
