1915 Obituary [1]

WILLIAM MITFORD died at Coatham, Redcar, on February 17, 1915, in his eighty-fourth year.

Prior to his retirement a few years ago, he was for many years inspector of rails for the North-Eastern Railway Company.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1894.
