William Swann Brittain, William Henry Brittain, and Thomas Bosher Brittain, carrying on Business at Alma Works Merchants and Manufacturers of Steel and Files, at Sheffield, in the County York, under style “William Hall," terminated on 31st day of December, 1876, by effluxion of time. And that all Debts due to and owing by said late Partnershlp will be received and paid by the said William Henry Brittain and Thomas Bosher Brittain, by whom the Business has, since the said 31st day of December, 1876, been, and will in future be carried on their own account, under the style of William Hall...'[1]
