Driver for the Royal George for the Stockton and Darlington Railway
Drove the Sans Pareil at the Rainhill Trials
He later accompanied the Sans Pareil to the Bolton and Leigh Railway where he ran it for some years.
1875 Died a few weeks before the S&DR Railway Jubilee
