1876 Partnership change. '...the Partnership formerly subsisting between the late William Bates and the undersigned. Frederick Bates, carrying on business at Scar Head, in Norland, Sowerby Bridge, in the parish of Halifax, in the county of York, as Millwrights and Machine Makers, under the style or firm of William Bates and Son, was dissolved, on the 28th day of February, 1874, by the death of the said William Bates on that date.— Dated this 28th day of October, 1876.
