1911 Living at Hurst Clough, Whaley Bridge: William Arnold (age 36 born Ardwick), Motor Carriage Builder - Employer. With his wife Emily Arnold (age 29 born Leyland) and their son Allan Arnold (age 5). Also his sister-in-law Mary Hillier (age 38 born Preston), married, and hie niece Jessie Johnstone (age 7 born Levenshulme).[1]
