1841 Company founded as Widnes Foundry Co.

1936 Thomas W. Ward of Sheffield acquired Widnes Foundry Co

Constituted as a separate subsidiary undertaking under the style of Widnes Foundry and Engineering Co. Ltd.

1936 Private company.

1937 New plant was being installed and further opportunities investigated.[1]

1961 Iron founders and engineers, specialising in chemical plant, iron sectional tanks, fabricated mild and stainless steels and vessels. 350 employees. [2]
