1888 January. Prospectus for the company announced with £60,000 capital. Mill at Bathampton and machinery by A. B. Child and Son. Joseph Day listed as a director. [1]

1889 February. Joseph Day listed as the chairman of the company. [2]

1892 November. Investigation into the directors behavour leading to the liquidation of the business. Joseph Day questioned about cheques drawn on the company for the Bath and Bristol Steamboat Co of which he was also chairman. [3] [4]

1894 February. Allegations against Joseph Day and Frank William Lucy about publishing false information about the company. Joseph Day is away in America and has been advised to return. [5]

1894 June. Verdict returned of 'not guilty'. [6]
