Probably this was the business of George Tidcombe and Son which Henry John Rogers acquired in 1885.

c.1885-90 Known as Watford Iron Works (presumably)

1909 Maker of Beedle aeroplane propellor. (see picture)

1911 Public company.

1961 Makers of machinery for board and paper mills, pumps, general engineering and iron and non-ferrous founders. 120 employees.[1]
