1926 - October. They were appointed sole British representatives of Lewis M. Ellison of Chicago, U.S.A., the manufacturer of the Ellison inclined draught gauges for use on boiler and other power plants.[2]
1936 Introduction of Leonard thermostatic mixing valve
1937 Engineers and instrument manufacturers. Factory established in Cheltenham.
1959 First thermostatic mixing valves developed capable of working on UK supply pressures
1975 Acquired by Reed Building Products Division[3]
1976 Miralec thermostatic shower introduced. Leonard brand discontinued
1986 Company name changed to Caradon Mira[4]
