ASTELL, W. H.- Has been connected with automobilism at an early date, having owned and driven a motor boat fitted with a petrol motor in 1894, and a 4 h.p. Panhard car in 1896. Mr. Astell joined the Club on January 21st, 1901, drove a New Orleans car successfully through the 1000 miles Trial in 1900, and the Glasgow Trials of 1901. He was one of the Judges of the Reliability Trial of 1902.
