Victoria Dock (Dundee) Swing Bridge

2019. Viewed from the south, looking across the dry dock

An elegant two-leaf swing footbridge, now out of use, which crossed the east end of Victoria Dock near the entrance from Camperdown Dock.

See Canmore entry.

There are references to a swing bridge at the dosck from 1850, but it seems most likely that the current bridge was ordered from John Stewart and Son (Irvine) in 1876.
