1911 The Victoria Brass Foundry Limited, 236 Leith Walk, Leith, was incorporated, with capital of £8,000, to take over the business of brassfounders carried on by Ebenezer Chalmers, Bonnington, Leith, under the name of James Buchanan & Co.[1]

1922 Products: heavy marine and paper mill lines and shells.

1940 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
