Vaughn Machine Co of Peabody, Massachusetts.

1883 Founded in Peabody, Mass, by Mr Joseph Vaughn, a millwright after he had obtained a patent for a vertical single table putting-out machine which successfully displaced the laborious work of setting-out by hand slickers.[1]

Mr Joseph Vaughn and his three sons, George, Ira and Charles formed the management of the firm.

The Vaughn Machine Company, established their European headquarters in Germany (Frankfurt-am-Main) with branches in France (Paris) and England (Leicester).
