1900 Incorporated as a limited company and amalgamated with purchase of American branches; formerly two businesses: Giles Atherton of Virginia Mills, Higher Hillgate, Stockport, and John Turner, Denton, Manchester.

1905 Built an unusual steam wagon designed by Dr. Brightmore.[1]

1914 Hatters, machinists, electrical engineers. Specialities: all kinds of hatting machinery, electric lifts, felt hat bodies, blowing and forming of fur for the trade. [2]
