1892 Tomson and Wotton Limited was registered, with capital of £100,000, to take over and carry on the old-established business of Tomson and Wotton of the Queen Street and Cannon breweries, Ramsgate, the whole of the share capital being taken by the late partners in the business in part payment of the purchase money of the business and property. There was also an issue of £65,000 of debenture stock, some of which was open for subscription.[1]
