1833 Established the iron and tinplate works at Bradley[1].

1876 Partnership change. '...the Partnership for some time past subsisting between us, the undersigned, Stephen Thompson, William Hatton, and William Hatton the younger, carrying, on business as Iron Masters at Bradley Tin Plate Works, near Bilston, in the county of Stafford, under the style or firm of Thompson, Hatton, and Co., and at Broadwaters Works and Falling Sands Works, near Kidderminster, in the county of Worcester, under the style or firm of Thompson, Hatton, and Morgan, is this day dissolved, by mutual consent, so far as regards the said Stephen Thompson, by his retiring from the said partnership. The businesses will henceforth be carried on at the above works by the said William Hatton and William Hatton the younger, in conjunction with their sons, under the style or firm of Hatton, Sons, and Co...'[2]
