c1817 Born at Wishaw the son of John Walker and his wife Charlotte Lowe
1840 October 21st. Married at Wishaw to Ruth the daughter of John Eades, a Gentleman. Thomas Walker is a Clerk and the son of John Walker, a Gentleman.
1847 One of the original members of the IMechE - No. 53. Of the Patent Shaft Works, Wednesbury.

1861 Living at Berkswell, Warks: Thomas Walker (age 44 born Wishaw, Warks.), Iron master. With his wife Ruth Walker (age 42 born Stourbridge) and their four children; Thomas Walker (age 17 born Wednesbury); Frederick Walker (age 14 born Wednesbury); Emily Walker (age 13 born Wednesbury); and Florence Walker (age 9 born Wednesbury). Eight servants.[1]
1872 Resigned from IMechE
1887 December 10th. Died. 'Mr. Thomas Walker, of the Patent Shaft and Axle Company, Wednesbury, and of Berkswell Hall, died on Saturday, in his seventy-first year, at Studley Castle, the residence of his eldest son, Mr. T. Eades Walker.'[2]
