Thomas Mitchell (1798-1871) Ship Owner of Glasgow

1798 May 24th. Born in Perth the son of Stewart Mitchell and his wife Jean Jack

1826 October 9th. Married(1) in Glasgow to Florence 'Flora' Kerr and they had three daughters

1841 November 1st. Married(2) at Govan to Robina Lochhead (1807-1886)

1851 Thomas Mitchell 52, ship owner and merchant, living in Gorbals, Glasgow with Robina Mitchell 40, Margaret Mitchell 23, Janes J. Mitchell 22, Jemima Mitchell 19[1]

1871 October 28th. Died and buried at Glasgow Cathedral
