1936 Thomas Graham and Son was founded in Glasgow as a builders’ merchant.

1959 Thomas Tilling acquired 75 percent of Thomas Graham and Sons, wholesale plumbers merchants and fireplace manufacturers[1]

By 1961 Thomas Graham and Sons was 75 percent owned by Thomas Tilling[2]

1965 Acquired West and Gardam, builders merchants of Yorkshire[3]

By 1983 had become Graham Group
