c1829 born at St. Giles, Middlesex the son of Thomas Blackwell and his wife Jane

1861 Living with his parents in Harrow. Thomas Francis (age 22 born St. Giles, Mddx), an Oilman. With his wife Emily E. (age 28),and son Charles R. (age 10 months) [1]

1871 Living at The Cedars, Harrow (age 32 born St. Giles, Mddx), Manufacturer of Pres and Provisions. With wife Emily E. (age 35 born Finsbury) and children Charles R. (age 10 born Notting Hill), William E. (age 9 born Notting Hill), Arthur H. (age 7 born St. Pancras), Edmund A. (age 5 born Harrow Weald), Harriett M. (age 3). Also Charlotte Slemmer (age 72), his wife's mother, her sister(?) plus five servants. [2]

1907 August 14th. Thomas died

1907 Will proven. Managing Director of Crosse and Blackwell. Aged 69. [4]
