Thomas Crespin Harrison (1879-1931)

Thomas Crespin Harrison was born in 1879 and was educated at University College and Faraday House. He served his apprenticeship at the Eagle Ironworks, Newbury, and from there was appointed Assistant Draughtsman and later Assistant Mains Engineer of the Reading Electric Supply Co.
After holding positions subsequently with the Westinghouse Co, the Underground Electric Railways Co and Weigel Motors, he joined the staff of Dr. Hele-Shaw, assisting in the development of patents.
In 1910 he was appointed Electrical and Mechanical Inspector to J. Lyons and Co, and after the war established a business as Consulting Engineer.
He died on 28th May, 1931, at the age of 51.
He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1908.
