1897 The company was registered on 24 March, to take over the business carried on under the title of T. Carlyle, manufacturer of buttons and buckles. [1]

1907 Combined with Plant, Green and Manton and Harrison and Smith to form Buttons.

1908 Other businesses have since been acquired.
