1890 Established.

Partnership of Harley Tarrant and W. H. Lewis in 1896.[1]

1901 Built a 6 h.p. chain-driven car.

1905 November. Entered and completed the 1905 Melbourne to Sydney Trial

1905 December. Announced they are building new showrooms and garage at 104-112 Russell Street and it will be the second largest garage in the world.[2]
