1891 Company established.

1907 Incorporated as a limited company.

1914 Electrical manufacturers and contractors. Specialities: generators and motors for continuous and alternating currents, motor starters, switchboards and switches, installation work. [1]

1923 They moved their London office from 73A to 17, Queen Victoria-street, E.C.4.[2]

1926 Of Victoria Electrical Works, Huddersfield announces that it has arranged with Messrs Darroch and Espie of Dock Works, 37 Weir-street, Paisley-road, Glasgow, to act as its representatives in Scotland, as successors to Mr James Espie, of the same address, who is retiring from business.[3]
