1990 The Brand Partnership Ltd was incorporated

At some point presumably acquired W. Symington and Co

2006 Name of the trading business changed to Symington's Ltd

2007 Acquired by Bridgepoint.

Produced a range of soups under the Ainsley Harriott brand

Owned Golden Wonder

c.2011 Acquired the British part of Campbell's Soups

2011 Acquired the Chicken Tonight and Ragu product lines from Unilever

2012 Acquired by Intermediate Capital Group[1]

2013 Announced it would be moving its noodle production from China to Leeds[2]

2019 Change of strategy to concentrate on its branded products and reduce the proportion of licensed products made on behalf of others. Withdrew from Ainsley Harriott and Golden Wonder brands. Introduced Mug Shot soups, Naked and Twist'd products; continued with Chicken Tonight and Ragu The Hungry Elephant brands. Three factories - two in West Yorkshire and one at Consett.[3]
