1879 Company incorporated by special act of Parliament[1]

1880 Public issue of shares; plan to construct 8 miles of tramway in Battersea and Nine Elms

1885 Successful demonstration of a battery-driven tramcar by South London Tramway Co using Electrical Power Storage Co's accumulators[2].

1900 London County Council purchased the company's lines[3]

1903 the company was liquidated
