Sholto Hamilton Gordon (1879-1911)


1911 Obituary [1]

SHOLTO HAMILTON GORDON, born on the 13th September, 1879, was killed in an explosion at Messrs. Vickers, Sons and Maxim’s shipyard at Barrow on the 25th January, 1911. Mr. Gordon had received his practical training with that firm and was employed in the submarine department at the date of his untimely death.

He was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 3rd April, 1906.
