1859 Dissolution of the Partnership between Joshua Taite Naylor and Sheriton Holmes, as Engineering Surveyors and Estate Agents, at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, under the style or firm of Naylor and Holmes[1]

1861 Sheriton Holmes 32, civil engineer, lived in Castleton, Roxburghshire with Emma Holmes 32[2]

1881 Sheriton Holmes 52, civil engineer, lived in Newcastle on Tyne, with Emma Holmes 53, Ralph S. Holmes 19[3]

1891 Sheriton Holmes 62, civil engineer, lived in Jesmond, Newcastle with Emma Holmes 63, Ralph S Holmes 29, Annie C S Holmes 26[4]
