of Stoke Newington Church Street, London (1975), distributor of engineering tools and fasteners, of London, Avonmouth, Bilston, Salford and Glasgow.

1957 Shorts concluded an agreement with Serco Ltd. of London for the marketing of a new tool to be known as the Short-Serco Gun Reamer. Under this agreement Serco Ltd.. are arranging for manufacture of the reamer[1]

1968 Serco (Ulster) Ltd was in liquidation; meeting held at the offices of James Booth Aluminium[2]

1969 Blucher-Grundy, Serco-Ryan Ltd. and Rapp Metals Ltd were part of the James Booth Aluminium Group[3]

By 1973 Serco-Ryan was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alcan Aluminium (UK)[4], part of the stockists division of Alcan Booth Industries[5]

c.1975 The company had an address in Salford
