Son of Samuel Walker of Rotherham

1782 On the death of his father, Samuel II and his brothers took over the running of the company Samuel Walker and Co

1792 Samuel II provided in his will for the purchase of his interests in the family company by his three brothers for £41,000, with authorization to sell shares to his heir (presumably Samuel Walker III (1779-1851)), when he came of age.
