1871 Samuel Platt 58, brass and iron founder, employing 26 men and 9 boys, ived in Wednesbury, with Rose Hannah Platt 52, John Platt 27, iron moulder, Eliza Platt 21, Thomas Platt 18, iron moulder, Frederick Platt 13, Isaiah Platt 11. John Platt (b1822) Iron founder, lived next door[2]
