1795 Born at Birmingham the son of Samuel Lloyd (1768-1849), a Banker, and his wife Rachel Braithwaite (1768-1854). Brother to Sampson Lloyd
1823 Samuel Lloyd married Mary Honychurch in Plympton
1835 Partner in establishing the Old Park Works, Wednesbury, which later included collieries and blast-furnaces

With his wife Mary Lloyd (age 56 born Falmouth) and their children; Mary Lloyd (age 24 born Wednesbury); Samuel Lloyd (age 23 born Wednesbury), Coal and Iron Master; Joseph Lloyd (age 17 born Wednesbury), Clerk; and Ann Lloyd (age 13 born Wednesbury). One visitor and three servants.[1]
