c.1860 in Birmingham, son of Samuel Benjamin Whitfield

Presumably took over the business of S. B. Whitfield and Co after the death of his father.

1891 Samuel I Whitfield 31, metallic bedstead manufacturer, employer, lived in Deritend with Sarah H Whitfield 29, Haidee V Whitfield 6, Beatrice W Whitfield 4[1]

1901 Samuel Isley Whitfield 41, metallic bedstead manufacturer, lived in Warwick with Haidee Sarah Whitfield 38, Violet Haidee Whitfield 16, Beatrice Nellie Whitfield 14[2]

1914 Died in Gloucester[3]
