For thirty years was managing partner of Tredegar Ironworks

1822 Married Charlotte Stable; they had five children - Samuel George Homfray, Lorenzo Augustus Homfray, Charles Gould Morgan Homfray, William Henry Wickey Homfray, Charlotte Jane Homfray[1]

1853 Retired from the ironworks
