1868 Advert: 'S. LAWRENCE, ENGINEER, AND MILLWRIGHT, SOUTH-STREET, BRIDPORT, respectfully announces that he has taken premises in Brewery Lane, for the purpose of carrying on engineering, millwrighting, and general machinery business, manufacturing and repairing. He also makes the most recently improved NET MACHINES. All orders promptly executed on moderate terms.' [1]
