Note: This is a sub-section of Royal Aircraft Factory.

The F.E.1 (A.E.1) was a two-seater built in 1913. The plane was a pusher powered by a six-cylinder in-line 100-hp Chenu engine and designed to carry a Coventry Ordnance Works (COW) gun firing a one pound shell.

Design was lead by S. J. Waters and testing by Geoffrey de Havilland assisted by Ronald Kemp
