Note: This is a sub-section of Royal Aircraft Factory.

Two-seat tractor plane based on the B.E.1/2 layout but fitted with a 60-hp ENV F type engine.

It first flew on 27th June 1912 and handed over to the Royal Flying Corps on 18th July.

A few weeks later it was fitted with the Renault V8 engine and became effectively a standard B.E.2 with the serial number 205.

On 27th May 1913 it crashed killing the pilot Desmond Cox
