Rowland Thomas Owen (1897- ) of R. T. Owen

1953 Proprietor, New Garage, Holland Arms, Anglesey. Born Rhostrehwfa, 1897. Educated at Llangefni. First connected with the Industry as assistant to H. Roberts, Engineers, Llangefni in 1911. During the 1914-18 war served with R.W.F. 2nd Bn. Spent a short time as chauffeur to Lord David Davies. Joined George Heath, Birmingham in 1921. Worked with Holyhead Motor Co. until opening above business on own account in 1926.
