1926 Incorporated as a limited liability company to exploit the inventions of Mr Ernest E. Rooke[1]. Started making the Faradex range of components for wirelesses, which were used by many wireless manufacturers. Factory at Cardington St, London NW1.
1929 The demand for the Faradex Portable radio was such that a new factory with greater capacity was required, which was acquired near Holborn. Also acquired the business of the Seraphone Co which had developed a number of radios and gramophones. A new public company was formed to acquire these businesses of Rooke Brothers: Faradex-Seraphone Co Ltd.
By the end of the year, creditors had petitioned for the winding up of the company[2]
